Why would folks come from Cave Junction, Merlin, Wimer, and Grants Pass to play Bingo at Rogue River Community Center? According to Bingo enthusiast Joyce, “ It’s the greatest game!” Fellow enthusiast Paula adds, “We always have fun, always laugh and joke. We just have a good time.” Joyce continues, “You get lots of hugs. And the potluck on Sundays….”  And if you want to learn the modern games, we will assign a personal coach and you can enjoy Bingo like you used to!

You’ll find a good size crowd every week, about 30-40 on Wednesdays swelling to 60 or more on Sundays. That makes for good prizes. The cost of the games is very reasonable: $3 for each session, $1 for each special. You can play all the games all day for $13!

People of all ages are welcome. It’s a great way for newcomers to meet the community and make new friends.

Bingo games are held every Wednesday and every Sunday, starting at 1 P. M. and go till about 4:30. Each day 24 regular games and 3 special games, Hot Ball and Bonanza. Arrive a little early and play as few or as many games as you please. Bring your own dauber or you can buy one here.

Many folks come for lunch on Wednesdays and stay for Bingo.

Sunday Potluck

The Potluck/Bingo combo on Sunday is a real winner. It evolved over time from a few people bringing snacks to the feast it is today. Bring your own dish to contribute, or if you don’t cook, you can make a cash contribution which helps pay for potluck supplies. The Potluck starts at 12:00; you don’t want to be late for, according to some, “it’s the best food in the Rogue Valley!”
