Seniors are invited to enjoy a hot, nutritious lunch and an opportunity to socialize. The Rogue River Community Center in partnership with RVCOG brings the Food & Friends Lunch Program to the seniors of Rogue River.
Every weekday wholesome fully-balanced meals are offered at the Community Center for all who wish to attend. Low sodium and diabetic meals are available.
Friendly volunteers also can deliver Meals on Wheels to those who are homebound.
Lunches and Meals on Wheels are available to all seniors 60 years and over and to qualified younger adults with disabilities, regardless of their ability to pay.
Participants are asked to donate what they can comfortably afford for meals. Seniors are asked to contribute a $2.75 suggested minimum donation while those under 60 are asked to pay $6.75 per person. No one will be refused meals due to lack of ability to donate.
Volunteers are always welcome!
Our many volunteers are vital to the the success of the Food & Friends Lunch Program and Meals on Wheels. Volunteering for these programs is not only rewarding, it is FUN!
